Dr. Bryan Pokorney

 

I am a seasoned professional musician and educator, working and living in Michigan since 1998. I am bass trombonist of the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, the Midland (MI) Symphony Orchestra, and am a regular performer with the Detroit Opera. Additionally, I have performed with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, West Michigan Symphony, and many other ensembles throughout Michigan. As an educator, I have instructed at Central Michigan University, the University of Michigan-Flint, and Alma College. I hold degrees from the University of Evansville and Michigan State University.

 

I am currently teaching private trombone, euphonium, and tuba lessons from my home in Roseville, MI (metro Detroit). I am also available for master classes, sectionals, and ensemble coachings. Please contact me for rates, scheduling, and with any questions.
